Dear Cove at Tiburon Community:

Now, more than ever, we value the support of our community – we’re all in this together. We’re writing to introduce you to our new Community Care initiative and invite you to participate. There are so many ways we can support each other.

First, a reminder that your well-being is the highest priority at The Cove, and we would like to assure you we are taking all necessary steps to maintain the standards outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Your staff remains on the job, dedicated to providing uninterrupted essential services – even while their own families are sheltering in place. We genuinely appreciate your trust and support as we navigate the evolving guidelines related to COVID-19.

To keep us all connected, we’re announcing a Community Care initiative to offer support to all of us during this challenging time. Over the coming days, we will provide information, resources, and special programs for our wonderful and diverse community. Our goal is to support every one of our residents and team members, promote a strong community, and keep everyone connected during this collective pause. We have organized a dedicated team and a group of volunteers to help drive this initiative.

We have created a new Community Care Portal on our website (thecoveattiburon.com/communitycare) to keep you connected and informed. We invite you to visit, and even contribute. We will cover a wide range of subjects to inspire your optimal care including:

  • Senior and special needs outreach

  • ‘Remote’ community activities

  • Online health and wellness programs

  • Family and education resources

  • Service resources e.g. medical, laundry, food delivery, and entertainment options

  • Recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), the US Department of State, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

  • Resident stories

  • Preventative and environmental sanitation practices we are implementing in the community

  • Directives to comply with any self-quarantine requirements

What Can You Do?

This is a community initiative, and we welcome your input. We invite you to submit your questions and suggestions about Coronavirus and The Cove to community@thecoveattiburon.com. We will be including a Q&A segment on the community portal and your input to this portion of the website is critical to its success.

As we partner with you and our greater community through these unique times, we are committed to keeping the channels of communication open and doing all we reasonably can to ensure the well-being of our community. You can trust that we will communicate regularly with you as we monitor the situation and we will post health-related updates and other information on the Community Care Portal.

We maintain our commitment to treating every member of our community with honor, respect, wisdom, and compassion. We are confident that this Community Care initiative will help us come together at a time when our collective well-being is everyone’s highest priority.

Stay healthy,

Your Cove at Tiburon Team
