DAY 4 | Locate your Center
Close your eyes.
If there was a center of you, where might that be?
Look inside and keep your attention to it.
Notice what it feels like.
Is it uncomfortable to find your center?
Does it feel small? If so, breathe into it and feel it grow like a balloon.
As it become spacious, rest there and listen to your thoughts speaking to you.
Yes, the way you speak to yourself.
Remember, words have power and create.
Consider using the words that you want yourself to embody or become.
I wonder, I notice, I am curious, all indicate an openness to learn and grow.
Studies in linguistics and the technology of communication note that the application of these words naturally place you in a heightened state of awareness and responsiveness vs reactiveness.
Notice what you notice about the stories you have told yourself that have sentenced you to a history that may no longer serve you.
Observe your thoughts like the rings of history in a tree.
Wonder what it might feel like if you did not identify with those rings.
Be kind to yourself. Be kind to others
Be curious and let yourself loose from your history or herstory.
You may just be surprised and delighted as you become present with NOW.
