Dear Residents,

Before jumping into your weekend, join us for our next Food Truck Friday! We strive to provide our residents with a wide array of digital and spatially aware programs and activities. We have our activities and programs listed on The Cove Community Life—including our next Food Truck Friday, spatially aware yoga, a virtual trip to Plymouth, MA, and much more.

A REMINDER TO COVER-UP
In order to maintain our most vital health, let’s respect boundaries of 6 feet, wear face coverings in public, and be particularly mindful in close spaces. We appreciate your conscious collaboration in community care.

HOLIDAY OFFICE HOURS
In observance of Thanksgiving, our office will close at 3pm and amenities at 3pm on Wednesday, November 25. Our office and amenities will be closed on Thursday, November 26. We will reopen for business as usual on Friday, November 27.

THANKS FOR COMING TO OUR AUTUMN AFTERNOON
We appreciate everyone who came out to celebrate with us at our Autumn Afternoon at The Cove! We truly hope you enjoyed yourselves and are excited to celebrate with you again soon. In case you missed it (or want to relive the fun), click here to check out the fun from our photo booth.

FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY: FRIDAY, 11/20 FROM 5-8 PM
Get a taste of The Chairman! Join us in the parking lot between the Leasing Office and Sunset Lounge on Friday, October 9th, from 5-8 PM for a no-contact foodie experience. Pre-order pay directly through Square, and you’ll receive a notification when your order is ready for pick-up. Please remember to honor community care by wearing your masks and maintaining spatial awareness from others.

SYZYGY: A MOMENT OF WONDER AND BEAUTY
Parkmerced, our sister property, is spreading holiday cheer this season with an outdoor sculpture that lights up the night sky with hope and wonder. “Syzygy”, created by artist Taylor Dean Harrison, is an interactive art installation featuring six 15 x 10 ft sculptures that cast shadows and light onto the ground in an aligned pattern 120 feet in diameter. All are welcome to visit Parkmerced to experience this interactive Art at the Park installation, on display in Juan Bautista Circle—at the park, from afar, or in your car. Click here to read more about the installation, the artist, and the series of events that will accompany Syzygy as we move through the holiday season.

RUN LIKE CLOCKWORK: WED-FRIDAY FROM 2:30-6:30 PM & SAT-SUN FROM 11 AM-3 PM
Self-care is good for your health and your mental well-being. Thanks to a new pilot program at The Cove, have your nails painted like Clockwork. They’ve developed a robotic manicurist who can make your nails look good as new in just 10 minutes. Check them out inside the Sunset Lounge and make your appointment today, click here.

EVENING YOGA: EVERY WEDNESDAY FROM 5-6 PM
Join us on the Dock behind the Clubhouse for a spatially aware Yoga class with our Cove instructor, Melissa, every Wednesday in October from 5-6 pm. Space is limited, please be sure to RSVP to secure your spot. Due to class capacity limits, walk-ins are welcome until class is full. Click here to RSVP. Classes can be reserved up to 7 days in advance.

VIRTUAL FITNESS CLASSES
Our roster of virtual fitness classes for adults and kids continues! These popular classes include gentle yoga, strength training, high-intensity interval training, and a fun “Kids’ Fitness Camp”! You can view all the activities on our Community Life events page.

VISIT PLYMOUTH, MA IN OUR NEWEST ARMCHAIR VACATION
Founded in 1620, Plymouth, MA, is a picturesque waterfront city south of Boston that’s anchored in history as the site of the first Pilgrim settlement. This year, Plymouth celebrates the 400th anniversary of Mayflower's arrival in Plymouth Harbor. But while all its historical markers and sites may be the initial draw, Plymouth has a quintessential New England feel and historic architecture, downtown shops, and expansive ocean views that keep visitors coming back year after year. From tasty cuisine to cranberry festivals, come on a virtual tour with us to explore everything there is to do in “America’s Hometown.” For this and past destinations (including Tahlequah, OK, Transylvania, The Maldives, and more) visit our Armchair Vacations series.

TAKE TIME WITH YOUR CHILD TO DISCOVER PLANET PODZ
We are excited to bring you a special Guided Journey of Sensory Exploration, crafted for you and your child. Come along for different offerings, each with its own curated menu of activities, videos, and products. Click here to start your journey today!

ROBOT MANICURES RUN LIKE CLOCKWORK
Self-care is good for your health and your mental well-being. Nearly everyone knows that something as simple as a manicure can lift one’s spirits, especially in these times. Right now, booking a manicure can be problematic, especially with spatial awareness, state tiers and county guidelines. Thanks to a new pilot program, residents at our sister property, The Cove, can have their nails painted like Clockwork. They’ve developed a robotic manicurist who can make your nails look good as new in just 10 minutes. If the initial pilot program proves successful, Maximus’ other properties may get their own robot manicurist. To learn more about The Cove and Clockwork pilot project, click here.

WEEKLY WINE DELIVERY WITH THE ROSÉMAN
The Day Project Wine Co. has given a modern spin on the Milkman in the form of the Roséman, who brings you delicious wines instead of milk and eggs. The winery is currently offering 20% off to residents and complimentary Roséman delivery every Friday. Take advantage and use the resident promo code THECOVE when placing your next delivery with The Day Project Wine Company.

INDOOR POOL: CLOSED
In accordance with new restrictions from the Health Officer of Marin County, the Indoor Pool is now closed until further notice. Our Water Aerobics classes have also been cancelled for the  time being. Other amenities are still open for reservations with strict guidelines in place. Read the Amenity Guidelines and make a reservation, click here.

RESIDENT REFERRALS
We love having you here at The Cove, and would love to have your friends here too! Invite your friends or family to join our waterfront community and when they move in, you’ll get $1,000. Referring someone is easy! Please ask the person you’re referring to contact us at (415) 429-0962 or email residentreferral@thecoveattiburon.com, and we’ll be happy to help them schedule a personal tour.

If you have a story or valuable resource you'd like us to share, we invite you to leave a comment on our Facebook or Instagram pages or send us an email at community@thecoveattiburon.com.
