He's been the keyboardist and backing vocalist for Starship (formally Jefferson Starship) since 1995. The band, featuring the incomparable singer Mickey Thomas, performs over 100 shows a year, nationally and internationally.
This year for Marina Festival only, they will be adding Bassist Mark Hayes and Dummer Rian Robinson to bring pulsing dance party hits of all your favorite artists from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s. Presently, Mark continues to work with the Ojays, The Parliament Funkadelic tribute band with original Pfunk guitarist Stevie Panell , The Get Lucky band, KetchFraze and many others.
Rian Robinson is a drummer, vocalist and author that hails from the San Francisco Bay Area. For the past 6 years he has played extensively with MJ’s Brass Boppers who most notably, performed at singer Adele’s 30th Birthday.
