Day 25 | Color Sense
Color has its own frequency and vibration.
Each color's vibration is associated with different attributes and qualities.
Light entering our eyes through Color Therapy Glasses may trigger the production of hormones which control the biochemical system of the body.
It also can influence our emotions and well-being by supplying the frequency we need to keep our mind and body in balance.
Ancient Greeks practiced chromatherapy centuries ago by worshiping Apollo- the Sun God-the God of Light. The Chinese philosophy of Feng Shui is also based on color therapy.
Medicine uses color therapy for infants that are born bilious.
The Library of Congress only employs full spectrum lights in support of our nervous systems.Today, modern science has shown that our bodies select different light rays from the sun based on their wavelengths and frequencies to bring about balance and harmony within.
Even animals do the same, and so do plants. Color affects our moods and health and also the way we think or the way we are perceived by others.
Presence Pause: Take a moment to sit outside in silence and count the magnificent colors around you.
Notice the hues of the sky, the ground you sit upon, the vegetation around you.
Notice the colours of the birds plumage.
Then think of the incredible palettes that paint this earth, how you feel at dawn, dusk, high noon, in the direct sun and in the shade. Then notice how you feel inside under different lights.
Realize that the greatest gift you can give yourself , your family and friends and this great planet is your own presence with how you sense your surroundings.
Our individual perceptions Color our experiences and offer each of us unique sensations based upon our surroundings-
our likes and dislikes and our varying points of view. The way you adapt to your environment is based upon the way your brain responds to your sensory input.
Action:
Keep a journal this week and notice what you notice as you move from inside your home to your yard, to your car, to another neighborhood and keep a log of how your senses react or respond to each change of surroundings..
In this way you can become fully present with your own responses and share the magnificence of your being with everyone who experiences you. Everyone around you is lifted and inspired in your own awareness.
