SPOTLIGHT: THE COVE WELLNESS PROGRAMMING
STUDIO THIRTY
Keeping fit at Studio Thirty.
Everyone has the best of intentions when it comes to working out. Some even go so far as to carry a sports bag in the car so in case the gym calls to them on the way home. But then the workday drags on, traffic is horrific and by the time we get to the exit, it’s hard to think about stopping somewhere for a long workout.
Studio Thirty, awarded best personal trainer in Marin by Marin Magazine, has a better way. They offer Cove residents a high impact 30-minute workout using Cardio Strength Training. CST is an athletic style conditioning for any body and produces incredible results – strength, agility and stamina – in a very short time.
Following a dynamic warm up, participants do their 30-minute workout consisting of three rounds followed by a five-minute cool down. The total workout is 45 minutes. There’s no heavy machinery, no complex workouts to learn. The goal is to get you feeling healthy in mind, body and spirit so that you can enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle.
The program is part science and art. A personal trainer customizes the sessions to maximize results. Your body is the only equipment you need, along with a desire to improve your health. Coaches focus on creating positive, imaginative workouts with lots of cheering and high fiving instead of guilt and judgments.
Studio Thirty has been a Cove partner since March. “We can modify any exercises for our group workouts, whether they are at the Cove Fitness Center or our studio in Mill Valley,” says Jake, co-owner of the center. “The greatest satisfaction we get from working with you is knowing how you feel empowered and accomplished after every session. Our passion is to help our community reach their fitness goals.”
Residents interested in participating in a group training session or personal training can visit www.StudioThirty.com. Don’t forget classes here at The Cove are on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6 pm and Saturday at 10 am. You can also email the studio at StudioThirtyMarin@gmail.com or phone Studio Thirty at (415) 480-9159.
